Congratulations Nicole & Phillip

On May 24 I photographed Nicole and Phillip’s wedding and I had a blast. Nicole and Phil were so relaxed, laid back, and fun to be around that their personalities just made photographing their special day a total joy. Nicole and Phil were married at Redemption Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. Then we headed for the Buckhead Saloon at Old World 3rd Ward in downtown Milwaukee. Nicole and Phil talked to the owner of the saloon to let us use it for pictures because that is where they met. But then we stepped out into the balcony for some shots and as the rose bud on one of the bride’s maids bouquet came off they started playing hacky sack with it. The reception was held at the Double Tree Hotel in downtown Milwaukee and that was a total blast as well. Below is a little taste of the images I was able to create for Nicole and Phil. Congratulations Tiffany & Adam

I was fortunate enough to photograph Tiffany and Adam’s wedding in East Troy Wisconsin. Tiffany and Adam were so much fun and relaxed the whole time that is was clear they were having the time of their lives. I was fortunate to be a part of their special day. For both Tiffany and Adam family is very important and it showed in the little details, like Tiffany wearing pieces of her grandmothers wedding gowns with their names embroidered on her own wedding gown. Another great gesture on their part was that instead of having a receiving line and having all their guests congratulate them, they had everyone stay in their seats after the recession and then they walked back and thanked everyone for coming. They did this for every one at the ceremony. What a great thought. The ceremony was held at Saint James United Methodist Church and after they were married we headed out to the town square which presented some great photo opportunities, but my favorite was by the old train station, which is actually like a museum. From there we went to the Evergreen Golf Club for the reception and I was able to create some really fun images of them. Congratulations Colleen & Mike

Colleen and Mike got married at the Idlewild Country Club in Flossmoor IL and I had the greatest time shooting their wedding. Although their wedding is not the first Jewish wedding I photograph, I was blessed to be able to capture the deep emotions of love and blessings during the signing of the Ketubah, which is a prenuptial agreement traditional in Jewish weddings. During the Ketubah ceremony I was blessed and almost brought to tears by the thoughts and prayers both parents shared with Colleen and Mike. Mike’s dad was brought to tears several times because of the great love and relationship he has with his son. Colleen was also brought to tears when her dad shared his thoughts of how great a daughter and person she is and how they are so blessed and proud to be her parents. You will notice in this small sample of images I created for them, that Colleen is a really happy person, as she is always laughing and smiling in all the photos. I wish the best for Colleen and Mike and I feel blessed to have taken part in their wedding. Congratulations guys, you are awesome!.
